Sea Containers Old Lags' Domain

The Sea Containers Old Lags Domain (SCOLD) website was launched in February 2003, primarily as a means of communication and a source of information to alumni and friends of Sea Containers. There are more than five thousand Old Lags (ex-staff, ex-agents, and old friends) around the world. The list includes alumni as far back as 1966

Please let other ex-members of staff know about this site.

May 7, 2003 -  I am devising a directory of all past members of Sea Containers and this will be accessible from the Alumni link in the left hand column.

I have so far uploaded more than 150 names, including  the very first Who's Who (two typewritten sheets) of personnel located at Old Jewry in 1969., plus a musically accompanied parody of the Modern Major General from the 1974 Christmas cabaret, that incorporated the names of every staff member at that time.

I would be really grateful if you could let me have information about any of the people appearing on these lists -  [Joe Sinclair - contact details in LH column] - and please draw this website to the attention of any old staff members.

April 2, 2003 - Bernie Bird has promised some pictures and stories shortly.  Keep tuned in!
