Gary Skrehot an American who worked both in America and London and travelled for Sea Containers

for about twenty five years, sadly passed away on 21st May 2013 after a long illness.

Many people will remember Gary and may well wish to pay their respects to his sister Cathy whose email address is

 Cathy.Skrehot@clorox.com.

The following tributes were also posted on the Sea Containers Facebook Group

Barry McGrath just got in and saw this. So shocking and so so sad. I remember Gary coming over to Swavesey after a few days of persuasion and we had a great time, we went into Cambridge, then on a punt on the river cam. We had a great time trying out the local brews in a few pubs along the way, I'm sure he will be sorely missed by his family and the many friends he made at Sea Containers. R.I.P Gary.

Debra Britten Betty, I remember him well, such a lovely kind gentle person. He spent a lot of time in EOPS with us and also was in Ashford Kent with us for a while whilst we set it up initially. I will certainly email her.

Chris Jefferies Gary represented nice guy sanity in SC USA when there was a distinct shortage of nice guys and very little sanity. Will miss you pal

Charles R. Bishop Bad news. I worked with him in NAOPS until he went to London. Good guy, who baked the best cookies during the holidays! The office devoured them in record time. Rip..

Margaret Horne What a shock to hear this very sad news. I agree totally with Debbie, he was such a lovely, kind and gentle person. Always there to help as and when you needed it. Thanks for letting us know Betty x
