I have experienced the most unfortunate series of "departures" recently. I guess this is to be expected in the later years of one's life when one begins to outlive one's contemporaries. But it is beyond mere sorrowful that it should have happened with such frequency and in respect of so many of my late colleagues from the London School of Economics, each of whom, as I have reached out an internet hand via Google to renew contact, appears to have departed this coil within mere months of my search.
So it was with David Goldstone
He along with many of my other LSE alumni contemporaries - most of them also included in the memorial Cast of Characters portrayed in this website - had "trod the boards" with me in the London School of Economics annual cabaret Freeziesta in November 1950.
