Synchronicity

Synchronicity was a term beloved of the Austrian psychologist Alfred Adler.  It was almost - just not quite - synonymous with coincidence.  Actually I doubt if I could give you a perfect explanation of the difference between the two words; I just know that there are occasions when the use of one seems correct to me, while sometimes the other feels more appropriate.  Whatever, the characters that inhabit this section have all appeared in my life through some aspect of one or the other.
